Dance Avenue Mandurah

My daughter started at dance avenue just before she turned 2. she has enjoyed every class she has attended and it is the highlight of her week going to dancing. She has always loved to dance and her passion continues to increase since starting with dance avenue. we love the atmosphere at the studio, everyone is absolutely wonderful and friendly;my daughter is always talking about going to dancing to see Miss Peta who is a great teacher. we recommend this dance school very highly.

This place is a waste of time

An amazing family focued Dance School. Miss Peta is a caring, kind and compassionate teacher who is accepting of all children regardless of their capabilities. Always encouraging children to give things a go an try their best. We love our Dance Avenue family

I have not had personal experience, however by choices made in the public domain, it would appear this proprietor demonstrates a self entitled and arrogant demeanour.

My now 12 yo son has been enjoying the classes for several years.

My daughter who was 21 months old at the time, enjoyed most the classes she attended due to having a friend in the class with her but after a few horrible things happening there she started to cry and not enjoy being there and wanting to go home I am not impressed with the way my daughter was treated by the teacher. The teacher seems to think what happened on her behalf was fair by telling her off and said it was not acceptable behaviour for my daughter to be squealing out of joy and running around when other children also did it. She was told off multiple times for not lining up correctly or waiting for her turn when the other children were older then her and also did not do these thing correctly either and instead of explaining it to a young child she was told off or objects were taken from her if not listening. Some parents are rude and encourage there children nasty behaviour instead of correcting the child and explain to the other kids who are older that there are little ones who don’t understand like they do.I was under the impression a dance class for such young kids would be fun and laughter for the kids not serious yet my daughter was treated like we were in a competition. If children can’t be children and laugh and squeal and have fun then this dance studio shouldn’t have such young children attend there studio!!!!

Our little girl loves dancing and at 20 months old we found it hard to find a place that would take her due to age, but then we contacted Peta at Dance Avenue. Peta told us she could come down for a free trial and see how she enjoys it, we haven’t looked back since.Our girl does Preschool combo (Jazz, Tap and Ballet) and Kindy Gym on a Sat morning which fits in with our work schedule and which she thoroughly enjoys. The end of year concert at Mandurah Performing Arts with our Daughter on stage was definitely the highlight of last year and can’t wait to see this years concert.I have found the care, support, training and in general fun that our daughter receives from the owner, teachers and older students at Dance Avenue is more than we could ask for and we would give more stars if we could thanks Dance Avenue.
